Agents of Grace: The People in David’s Life and in Yours

$16.99

David is a central figure in Scripture. He was one of the greatest and the most God-fearing of Israel’s kings.  This book is about the people God graciously sent into King David’s life to guide and shape his attitudes and actions. They are God’s “agents of grace.” Each chapter helps readers reflect on one of David’s agents of grace. A devotion at the end of each chapter encourages you to think of people in you own life as agents through whom God in some way is blessing you.

Category:

Throughout David’s life, God used many people to mold and shape David into the man of faith and leader he came to be. As such, they were God’s “agents of grace” to David. Some were sent to chasten David. Others were send to direct him on the path God wanted him to walk. One very complex person, Joab, sometimes gave David needed help and guidance and at the same time proved to be a challenging source of frustration.

This is one of a set of five books about key figures in the Old Testament. A book on Joseph is also available: My Life for the Kingdom: The Story of Joseph. See this site for information on that book. Coming books will treat Job, Abraham, and Jacob.

Agents of Grace is available through GWABooks and Northwestern Publishing House. A Bible study is available from Northwestern Publishing House.
