Nothing is more important than the gospel message. Many have written about the gospel—to explain its message and to encourage others through the hope it gives.

The books offered on this website were written on a variety of topics,  Some of the books were written simply out of an interest in the topics themselves. But over time it has become clear to me that no topic in the Christian world can be analyzed or discussed without keeping an eye on the gospel message. This is the heart of Scripture and God’s gift to the world. 

I pray the material on this web site will help some of my fellow sinners receive the benefit of Christ’s work by believing it is true for them.

Most of these books and Bible studies have been published by Northwestern Publishing House (NPH), Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In recent years I’ve self-published several other books and Bible studies, all of which NPH is offering in their online store.

This site contains links to the NPH online store, where you can purchase this material. The more recently self-published books and studies can also be purchased from this site. However, I encourage you to order from NPH to support its vital work as the Wisconsin Synod’s denominational publisher.

This site is intended to be more than just a place to buy books. As much as possible, I intend to offer free resources. The “Stained Glass” page is a first step in that direction.
